My wma files, are no longer playing any sound.
I have check the bit rate and Khz of my files 192kbps and 44.1KHz, which conform to Sonos guidelines but still wont play.
I think this has happened since the last update.
Is any one else having this problem again, I know it was any issue a while back.
A support call will add to the priority of getting this fixed.
+20Convert them to FLAC. I never trust proprietary codecs. Now i noticed they are 192kbps. Converg them to MP3.
I have been having trouble since the last update. My Plabase speakers are working perfectly, but the Era 100 and three Sonos One SLs can play most streaming but they are having trouble with my music library. The problem is very recent. Everything used to work PERFECTLY. After some experimentation, I found that the Era 100 and the Sonos One SLs can play .MP3 files from the music library but not .WMA files. This is maddening because I have thousands of tracks in .WMA format and they all used to work. I hope Sonos can fix this soon so that the Era 100 and the Sonos Ones will recover the ability to play .WMA files.

Company, different guy: We are aware of the issue and are working on it.
Company, lawyer: Better, don't forget to let (the first guy) out of the closet before the weekend.
Having done that type of thing many years, there are several issues. First, reproducing it locally, so that the coder has something to look at/go on. Then the developer has to figure out the fix, and implement it. Then the fix needs to be tested, in order to confirm it isn’t affecting anything else. Then it needs to go out to beta testers, for further confirmation. Finally, it needs to be promoted to the main branch, and released (which requires scheduling) to the public. It’s hard to put dates on any of those, particularly the first several.
Not to mention other builds that are already in the pipeline for release.
it is much easier to deal with with a single person. Much more challenging in teams.
