speakers

I just got a Sonos and have it hooked up to a port which plays through my tower speakers and then also one other speaker in the house. When I went to go turn it off, I turned off my Morantz system Which the port runs to, but the speaker itself just kept playing music. How do you turn it off for good versus just pausing it  I also couldn’t close out of the app

What kind of speaker is the other speaker?

If you want no music source selected you can clear the queue so the app shows "no content" for that device.

You don't say which app, the normal close methods work for me on Android. Tap the three bar control and swipe the app offscreen.

Really need a better description of what you have.

What is the source of the music you are playing? Is it via the Sonos app? Then you will need to stop playback in the Sonos app. If it’s Bluetooth or AirPlay, then stop playback from the app that’s playing the music. BTW the port was probably also still playing the music along with your Era 100 if they are grouped. You just couldn’t tell since the Morantz system was turned off.

I don’t know why you can’t close the app. What device are you using the app on?

Do you mean Marantz?
