Sonos Beam Switching TV Input Back to EARC

After working great since purchase my Sonos Beam Gen 2 has started switching the TV input back to the Sonos HDMI 1 EARC. Within a couple of minutes of choosing an input for Amazon Firestick it switches back to Sonos. Any ideas on how to fix? I’ve tried unplugging the TV and Sonos. I also tried a new HDMI cable. Thanks

I don’t think the Sonos has any ability to switch inputs, other than it being an ARC/eARC device connected to the ARC/eARC connection on your TV.

If I understand your post properly, I’d be double checking that the Sonos is definitely connected to the correct HDMI port on the TV set, then I’d probably check the TV for updates, and power cycle it (unplug it from the wall for two minutes).

It may not hurt to contact the TV manufacturer’s CS group as well.

Thanks Bruce. Sonos is connected to HDMI 1 which is eArc. I’ve power cycled but no luck

Then I’d probably be checking all devices for updates, and getting in touch with the TV manufacturer’s CS to find out what’s going on.

I had to set my TV to ignore the hdmi port that my Arc was connected to.

I think (not confirmed) that my firestick was dropping the hdmi link for some programming changes and the tv looked for the next active hdmi port.
