SONOS App on MACOS Tahoe 26.5

Sonos app is working fine on iOS devices but not on MACOs. Have tried everything recommended by Claude for over an hour. Nothing seems to work.  Keep getting error message about a firewall issue. Claude think it’s a bug with Sonos and Apple not playing nice with Local Network connection networking issues.

Honestly, I don’t trust AI for this sort of thing, there’s just too much bad information out there it is feeding on. 

Have you tried turning off the firewall in MacOS? Have you called Sonos Support to discuss it?

When you speak directly to the Support staff, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your network and Sonos system.

Give this a try… on macOS go to System Settings → Privacy & Security → Local Network and toggle Sonos off and back on again.
