Hi all. Let me give you some details:

PC is a Windows 10

I also use the desktop app to add my library and play music to my system.

I added the Music path; albums and songs get indexed and are found under “Library”...but when I play from deskstop app, songs are not found.

From my IOS app, I CAN play the music that was indexed from my Music folder to my sonos system!

How can i get it to work from my desktop again??

The music index is stored on your Sonos device(s). So your desktop controller and iOS controller should be seeing the same thing. Maybe your desktop controller files have become corrupted somehow?

The first thing I would do is uninstall and then reinstall the desktop controller. If that didn’t correct the problem, the next step would be restarting your network and sonos devices. Unplug all sonos devices and router/wifi. Plug router back in and wait for it to come back up (5 mins). Then plug in the sonos devices and wait for them to come back up. Restart your controller devices. See if that fixed it.

If not, then Sonos support would be my next step. Try submitting a diagnostic (Submit Diagnostics) within 10 minutes of getting the error. Then call Sonos Support (Sonos Support) to discuss it. They may be able to see what the problem is. Don’t post the diagnostic number here.

Thank you for your reply.

So i did uninstall the desktop app; restart the pc then reinstalled.

Even though the links to my music were still found under Library..i just tried playing a song and it worked.

Thank you.
