My Move won't enter Bluetooth pairing mode when I press the Bluetooth button on rear. I do hear the tone, but no blinking blue light and it doesn't show in my available devices list. It worked fine until I added eeros wifi ext devices to my existing system. I also have 2 Arcs & 2 Subs, connected to same network,  working fine. Any ideas? Thx! Steve

You have to add the Move 2 to your sonos system via wifi before you can use Bluetooth with it. So if you factory reset it and didn’t add it back to your sonos system, you will need to do that first..

First of all do not factory reset the Move2.

Have you proven that the Eeros are blocking BT by removing them to test your hypothesis? Once that’s established you’ll know for sure if it’s a Sonos issue (Move2) or a Eeros issue. If the latter you’ll want to contact the Eeros manufacturer.

You can also run a diagnostic within 10 minutes of the next occurrence, make note of the reference ID and then call Sonos Tech Support to discuss the data.

Thx, but unfortunately I've already did multiple factory resets in the process(es) of trying to reconnect to my home wifi system :/ . The Arcs&Subs all rediscovered and reconnected to the same system (xfinity modem/router + 3 eeros 6+ ext units) and are working as they did before I added the eero units - but I'll go that route and see what happens.

It seems odd though, that my M2 won't even enter pairing mode. My idea was to just Bluetooth it to my phone and skip connecting to my home Wi-Fi system. Thanks for the reply!!

BTW… if you haven done so the Router side of the Xfinity box needs to placed in Bridge Mode to disable its WiFi. If not you’ll have conflicting WiFi networks.

One of the Eero units needs to connect to the modem side of the Xfinity box as the Router and the other two as extensions. What you are creating is a Mesh network.

@GyB

Please read my last post. Also when making changes to your network you should unplug all Sonos first and/or power them down if Battery operated such as the Move2.

All - thx for your inputs! Problem solved! Called eero, got a human quickly, told my sad story. His advice - change my main modem/router Wi-Fi name in the Xfinity app so that devices (incl Move 2) weren't conflicting trying to connectdid so - and POOF - solved almost instantly 😉. Everything, including all SONOS gear now works-as-advertised, WOOT!

Glad you got it resolved! However, you still have two WiFi networks. The one that you use and the other named for Xfinity. Placing the Xfinity router side in Bridge mode would have eliminated a second unused WiFi network.

Just as interference from external networks (i.e. a neighbor’s)  can cause interference so can a second network in your home. Seems like the Xfinity tech didn’t know about setting their box to Bridge mode or they were too lazy to do it remotely or they didn’t want to send tech out to do it.

However alls well that ends well…at least for now 😊
