Has anyone come up with a way to mount a Sonos Arc to a tiled wall without damaging the tile? I do not want to drill through the tile. I would guess that the Arc is too heavy to use even the strongest mounting tape. I know I can use the hangers that mount to the back of the tv, but I am getting a “Frame TV” and it would be optimal to not have it look like the Sonos Arc is actually hanging from the Frame TV.  Any suggestions?

You could use hangers hidden behind a rectangular plate that blends with the tile.

With the frame tv you could fabricate your own mounts to hang the Arc off the tv.

Use the Arc mounting bracket as a template for both the mounting holes and magnet location.

Had a second bit, forgot to type it.

On mounting tape, doesn't matter how strong it is, the critical bit will be the strength of the paper sheath on the wallboard. Many folks find things mounted to their tile on the floor, along with the tile, the tile mastic and a thin layer of the paper that failed.

To get dependable strength on tile you need something to penetrate the wallboard and expand to create a solid mount. A T-bolt or expanding anchor, not the plastic picture hanging  things.

With tape it’s easy-on, easy-off. The heavy ARC might eventually result in the tape releasing. Also, the tiles will likely be removed with the ARC.

I’d not want to mount on ceramic tile without either drilling holes, or using an ‘L’ shaped metal bracket embedded in the grout.

Alternately, I’d put a bureau of some type under the TV, and place the Sonos on that.
