Is the Sonos Arc Ultra worth it for PS5 gaming?

I’m considering getting a Sonos Arc Ultra for my living room, mainly for PS5 gaming and movies. I’m interested in how well it handles Dolby Atmos, especially with games that support 3D audio.

For those using an Arc Ultra with a PS5, how is the dialogue clarity and surround positioning? Do you normally use Dolby Atmos, LPCM, or another audio format?

I’d also like to know whether the sound remains balanced at lower volumes. Any advice about TV eARC and passthrough settings would be appreciated.

Much of that depends on the game’s audio. Sonos provides a good Atmos experience, when sent a good signal. But poorly mixed audio signals from games will certainly seem odd, especially if altered from stereo to Atmos by the sending device, be it the PS5 or the TV set. Unfortunately, much of the quality relies on the signal being sent.
