I bought a couple of Sonos bundles a long time ago. I had a Sonos Connect Gen 1 in storage that had never been setup, which I am now wanting to use.
I added it to my Sonos network, but the S1 app is now informing me that if needs a firmware update (of course). When I tell it to do the update it fails with a 'Error Code 803: Connect'.
It is definitely very out of date showing a version 3.8 compared to my other S1 device ls showing version 11.16.1.
From reading other posts, I believe I need Sonos Support to force/push a software/firmware update to it.
I have generated and submitted diagnostic report.
