Which “Sonos Device” do you have? Only some Sonos speakers have Bluetooth.

And Bluetooth as implemented on Sonos only ‘sees’, or ‘is seen’ by one device at a time. In your case, they could be currently seeing up your phone, for instance. In addition to @Pools-3015 comment, make sure, if they do indeed have Bluetooth, they’re disconnected from other devices before you try to connect with your Mac Air.

Only about half of my Sonos devices have Bluetooth…and even then, unless I’m not at home, I tend to use AirPlay 2 first. As far as I’m aware, any device that has Bluetooth also has AirPlay 2. And I’m not a fan of the compression inherent in Bluetooth (although at my age, my ears may not be good enough to hear it anymore).

Thanks for your repiles.  The device is a Sonos Roam SL Wifi and Bluetooth speaker.  The bluetooth works fine with my iphone but not with my Macbook, even when the iphone is disconnected.

The Sonos speaker does not connect to the WiFi.
