Have 10 Sonos speaker with Arc Ultra, sub and 2 rears in the living room which sound great.  But, when I stream music through the house and change volume, the arc just drops off they group.  Doesn’t happen all the time but it’s annoying.  I was told to go in to my Frame TV sound setting and turn on and off a particular setting and it seems to work for awhile but eventually comes back.  Any suggestions?

That sounds a lot like potential wifi interference , with the Arc not getting a good enough signal all of the time. It, when ‘grouped’, is normally receiving the signal from another speaker, through your router. That first ‘speaker’ in the group is known as the coordinator, and keeps all the ‘grouped’ speakers in sync. If the signal is getting dropped at some point, your Arc will drop off the group. I think there is some resilience built in, just not enough to handle what is going on in your particular situation.

When it stops streaming does it show as being in TV mode?

If so then possibly the TV is doing something to trigger the change from streaming to TV.

You can disconnect the eARC cable and see if that stops the issue. A second is going into the App and TV Room and disabling the auto-play options.

The auto-play switches should not be changing without user interaction so make sure all users know to not set them back. It is tempting to change them back as it does make TV watching more convenient but that won't help your test.

If it isn't switching to TV mode, Wi-Fi issues are a good suspect.
