Has anyone fiddled with the Apple Shortcuts automations for Sonos? I created an automation to play every Sonos Room. I know I could have just said “Hey Sonos. Play Everywhere”, but using that option plays the Rooms at whatever volume they were last set at. The beauty using the Apple Shortcuts app is you can preset a volume for each room. Unfortunately when I looked at what music can be played the choices were only radio stations in the Favorites list. Has anyone been able to access Sonos Playlists as well as Radio stations?

Yes. I have a few Sonos Playlists in Favorites.
Not too sure about this Shortcuts animation I set up. After I played the music for a while I stopped the music and ungrouped the Rooms using the Sonos app. That worked fine, but when I decided to watch TV the Arc would not respond. Nothing I did from the Sonos app restored control of the Arc. So I power cycled the Arc which restored control.
Don’t have any idea if it was the usage of a Shortcuts animation that locked up the Arc. Will have to try again to see if the Arc locks up again.
wonder if the third party app Soro might cause a similar issue.
The scope of ‘Play Content’ is currently limited to Sonos Favourites. I would have expected Music Service album/track/playlist URLs to be allowed, so I assume this will come at some point.
+19Installed the Soro app and used the Apple Shortcuts app + Soro to create the same shortcut I created using just the Shortcuts app. The actions were: group all Rooms then set volumes for each room then play Real Jazz from Sirius-XM. This time it worked without locking up the Arc after the music was stopped. Also created a shortcut with the actions Pause then Ungroup All.
