Trying to add music purchased from iTunes to Sonos app. I do not have a subscription to Apple Music. I have purchased all of my music from iTunes on my phone.

You don’t ‘add’ music to the Sonos app, you just tell Sonos where the music is stored. And unfortunately, Apple turned off iOS access for Sonos (and other manufacturers) several years ago. If your music is stored on your iPhone, and you have compatible Sonos speakers, you can use AirPlay 2 to get the music to your Sonos device, or Bluetooth. That way, you can choose the player on your iPhone, and connect the output of the iOS to the Sonos. You’re not using the controller to access the music at that point, but you can still use it, if desired, for volume control, although both AirPlay 2 and Bluetooth will handle a general volume.

Or, a bit extreme maybe, you can copy the physical music from your phone, or directly, to a Mac/PC/NAS and set up a local music library that Sonos can see and play from…

Unfortunately you can not access purchased music from that provider unless it is already downloaded to a local source you can share with Sonos. A phone is not visible to Sonos as a source.

Also purchased content can not be streamed from that particular provider without an active subscription.
