Dear Sonos,
I bought a few of your products in Brazil and I can use my Sonos as an Alexa but when I ask it to play a song it says to enable the Sonos Skill on the Alexa App. But there is no Sonos skill on the Brazillian Alexa Skill "store".
So, you have an official webpage in Brazil, you have official authorized retailers, alexa works on portuguese (PT-BR) and Sonos can add Alexa voice control in Brazil. However alexa can not controle my Sonos equipment and make it play a song I asked because the Sonos' Alexa Skill is not available on Brazil.
You are a premium brand with excellent products. Please STOP shipping half baked services with your product. This disappoints the costumers so much.
I read in other post in this community that the skill has become geo locked and the response the person got was "call Amazon". This is not a problem for a costumer to solve, it is your problem. You get together (or through) Amazon and solve it! Make the ecosystem work as a whole. I do not care about Amazon. It is not them who are loosing costumers with this type of situation, it is you.
How can I indicate your product to someone saying "it is an expensive sound made to work with Alexa but it does not"? They will just buy an Echo Studio and go on with life.
Sonos is officially supported in Brazil, there is no excuse. So I will repeat myself: stop shipping half baked services with your products. Please.
