Using Alexa with my Vizio TV on a Sonos One
I set up my Vizio P-65 to work with the Vizio Smartcast Alexa skill this week. For some reason, when using the Sonos One, it works fine except it cannot turn the TV on. When I use my Amazon Echo, it can turn the TV on. Is the Sonos One not capable of turning on connected devices with voice commands on Alexa?

My Sonos One's will turn my lights on and off as well as dim, brighten and change colors. So the answer is yes to on/off...at least for lights. Sometimes you have to experiment with how to properly make the request via the Sonos One. If nothing works I suggest you contact Sonos to see if they can elaborate as to Vizio skill complete integration with Sonos One as it may only be partial. Know that the Sonos One does not perform every skill as that of a dedicated Amazon device
