I am having trouble using Alexa on my Sonos one to play music through Spotify. Whenever I ask her to play something e.g “Play Wide Awake by Katy Perry” she just replied with “sorry something went wrong”’. I think I have linked everything correctly so not sure how to resolve this.
Just a few things to check before we start troubleshooting. Can you confirm that you have done the following:



1/ Added Spotify as a Music source within the Sonos app?

2/ Added the same Spotify account within the Alexa App>Music & Media?

3/ Selected Spotify as the default music source in Alexa App>Music & Media>Choose default music services?

4/ Has Spotify ever worked?

5/ Does Spotify work through the Sonos App?



If yes to all of these, can you select Alexa App>Smart Home>Devices>Discover and retest.



If still not working please select Alexa App>Skills>Your Skills>Sonos and 'Disable' followed by 'Enable'



And if still not working please power off for 10 secs the following devices, letting each one boot before moving to the next device:



- Router

- Any Network switch;

- Any wired Sonos devices

- All other Sonos devices



Please retest and let us know how you get on.
