are there wall holders that can be used with new Play 1?

The new play1 is the sonos one.
Sonos website says this will fit:-

From the photo, it looks like there is a thin wire top & bottom, that goes around the outside to clamp it?

If you are correct, I believe it would be unsafe and unsightly. Fancy introducing a product that you cannot attach to a stand or wall bracket because they have used the original fixing for a new button. Disappointed!

Iam sure it would have been tested.
Mostly it will be up out of reach of any children that might be tempted to tug at it. I agree it seems unsightly though.
Seems a mistake not to force the mounting screw into the design.

Must say I was also disappointed that they have dropped the screw hole. I really liked my Flexson Desk stand for my Play 1's. Hopefully some options will appear soon but I'm not sure I like that wall mount that clamps it at all.

Thanks for the info! a bit disappointing that I cant use my old brackets and have to get a new wall mount. flexson has also a new wall mount. But currently, both Flexson and Sanus are not available yet or out of stock...

That looks better, seems to locate underneath around the power connector somehow, and designed in the UK as an added bonus 😉
