Sonos unit mutes when speaking to different unit

I have a Sonos Beam in my bedroom and a Sonos One in my office.  If I am listening to music in my office and my wife asks Alexa something on the Sonos Beam, my Sonos One mutes.  How can I fix this?  This doesn’t seem normal.
