My sonos one will not update to find 8.2.3 update - i would like ot get this alexa issue fixed.
try plugging it direct into your router and then try update.
and 8.2.2 is the current version
According to some other posts, there is 8.2.3 for the Sonos One that improves alexa's responsiveness
There is an 8.2.3 that dramatically improves the responsiveness of the Sonos One and reduces the frequency of false responses. It is available in the U.S., U.K., Germany, and Australia. 8.2.3 - that is what I meant. My app says that I have Version 8.2.2 but Build 8.2.3 - is there a mix up? Responsiveness is still poor.
After the update your controller version will be 8.2.2 (build 39448021), but the version number for each of your Sonos One units will be 8.2.3 (build 39448180). You should experience a significant improvement in responsiveness. The difference between my four Sonos Ones and my echo devices in terms of responsiveness is now very nearly indiscernible.
Thanks Master T for the info. Sounds like eatmorelobster is on the current builds.
