Sonos One - Google assistant

That device is a stand alone speaker, not a multiroom audio system. It's not really a good comparison. I'm not saying there is no reason to be disappointed that it's taken this long to implement, just that you can't claim Sonos has failed because LG and others have Google speakers out there.

Also, there is definitely progress reported. Sonos has stated they will have public beta sometime soon.

Nov 2017 Sonos sold Sonos One with voice controll in Belgium promissing that march / april 2018 it would work with Alexa!! Now its febr 19 and all you sell in Belgium is air.. when i asked sonos for Alexa they point towards Amazon when i ask Amazon they point towards Sonos.. now its Google Assistent that maybe will be close ( i hope before 2020 at least.. love your products and they are great but give some decent answers!! Your customers deserve that!!

Just switch the country to eg UK to use the Alexa app. You don't have to wait for the official country support. 😃
