My shiny Sonos One arrived today and it all setup fine but for my Echo devices I use the trigger word “Echo”. However, I can’t see anywhere in the Alexa setup to change the trigger word to “Echo”. Am I doing something silly?
I believe the default trigger word is "Alexa" you can change it to Echo by opening the Alexa App > Opening Settings > Selecting your device > Wake Word.
Oh no you can’t! This is already acknowledged as a limitation in the current version but I for one hope Sonos/Amazon quickly address it.
Oh no you can’t! This is already acknowledged as a limitation in the current version but I for one hope Sonos/Amazon quickly address it. That's unfortunate. I've used Alexa devices but not the Sonos One so i was unaware of this limitation, apologies for the miscommunication.
