My Sonos is listening and responding to my requests but not actioning them. I say “Alexa play Spotify” it then responds “playing Spotify” but then doesn’t play Spotify. It does this with all requests and I can now only control it via my mobile. 
 

This has happened since I rebooted it to reconnect it to my new iPhone. I have tried rebooting the Sonos, restarting the internet, removing and re adding voice control. Nothing…

 

Can’t get through to the helpline as it’s a 40 minute wait. Someone please help. 

Have you tried disabling and re-enabling the Sonos and Spotify skills in the Alexa app?


Make sure Spotify is listed as a service and if it is your preferred service list it as such. See slide below:
