Recently sold my Sonos system without realising I needed to do a factory reset on them.  I had the old Sonos 1& the Sonos Play. I had linked them to my Amazon Alexa. Now I cannot play music through Alexa since it is still linked to my Sonos. Help!!

With regard to Alexa, removing the Sonos skill within the Alexa App will break the linking between the two accounts.

It breaks the link but Alexa is now saying “Sorry Sonos is offline”?

I need it to just use the Alexa speaker.

I need it to just use the Alexa speaker.

Can you open the Alexa App>Devices>[select your echo device], in the Connected Devices section please change the Speaker setting to Built-In Speaker.

Sorted!

Go to - Devices, all devices, clicked on rooms showing speaker icons & deleted them

Also disabled Sonos skill.

Thanks to all who responded.
