Play 1 Volume Low
Updated Sonos to latest version. now need to bring volume to 70% to get reasonable volume.

Then Play 1 volume to low
If play 1 volume is low.
1. I'm assuming here it is a stand alone Play:1 not paired with outher speakers in stereo or surround.
2. Go into sonos settting...room settings. choose this room. Check advance audio settings and make sure equalizer for treble and bass are at least mid way or more. Also you could try the loudness on setting.
3. Make sure the MAX Volume option is set at 100%
4. Then complete trueplay tuning for best results.
fyi - there is no firmware issue.
