I tried setting a music alarm on Sonos One with the command “Alexa, wake me up to X at 6:30am.” Alexa responded that music alarms are not currently supported in my region (i.e., UK). Is this true? Is this expected tp change soon through an update?

Sonos One does not support Timers or Alarms at this time. In addition to no telephone/intercom/drop in features.
Amazon has not opened up these options yet for inclusion.
It will do reminders I noticed. So you could say - Alexa set reminder for 6:30am to Wake Up.
