Echo Wall Clock + Sonos One?

Anybody know if the Echo Wall Clock from Amazon will be able to work with the Sonos One? So far the compatibility on the product page just says:

Requires a compatible Echo device, including Echo, Echo Dot, Echo Show, Echo Plus, Echo Spot, or Echo Input.

If it did work with my Sonos One, it'd be a great addition to my kitchen.

No it doesn’t, as the Echo clock pairs to its echo device using Bluetooth. The Sonos One does not have a Bluetooth radio built in.

What is so lame? The clock or the fact the clock only works with echos and not alexa enabled devices?

BTW, the same would be true with other alexa gadgets, like bottons or a remote.

Huh, yeh really disappointed by this :(

When I bought the Sonos One it felt like the best of both worlds but as more and more Echo features are not making it to the Sonos One that's feeling less and less true

I'm not surprised. I have a few echo buttons, which also use bluetooth to connect to echos, and was never really happy with the connectivity. The basically sit unused as it's not reliable and the games you play aren't quite worth the effort.
