Echo Dot as a speaker in Sonos Group

Hi, I have 2 x PLAY 1s downstairs and an Echo Dot upstairs. Can I add the Echo Dot (and any other Echo Dots I may buy) to a group with the Sonos speakers so that I can play the same music on them at the same time? Thanks Dave

I had an answer back from Amazon support to say that you cannot group different brands together to play the same music. 😠

This isn't possible at the moment. It is possible to use Alexa groups under Smart Home to group these devices together but Sonos output does not get sent to the Sonos 1's. If you check out the 'Music, Video & Books' section within the Alexa app, Sonos is the device identified as the Speaker, which is set by the Sonos skill I think.
