Connecting Sonos to my laptop
I can't get my windows laptop to transmit sound to the sonos 1. They are both hooked up to my wifi network and the network is 2.4gz.

When you say 'transmit sound to the Sonos', do you mean via the Sonos app or are you trying to use the Sonos speaker to output PC Audio?
Yes to output pc audio. For example if I’m watchinh Netflix or espn sports on my pc I’d like to use the Sonos to improve or replace the speaker sound that is coming from my laptop.

The only way to do this is via the 'Line In' connection on a Connect, Connect Amp or Play:5, it isn't possible to do this via Wi-Fi.
Thanks a lot for your reply. I wish this was possible as it would make the speaker a lot more versatile
