Bought a Sonos One and connected it to my old 2x Sonos plays.
I did this to set up Alexa routines for my daughter.
While I have been able to get music to play out the speakers from a routine,
I cannot get it to do an Announcement through any of the speakers from a routine.
When I press play on the routine it says “Now playing you routine” but no sound is played.
I have reset the speaker, removed the Alexa app, re installed it re connected it to the Sonos app but it still did not work.
There is a post on the Sonos community talking about this from a couple of months ago but it seems like it is working for some and not others.
I was hoping someone here might have some thoughts on getting this to work.
