I must be be being a bit thick, and this is obviously not a huge problem,but:
Why can’t I make Alexa turn my Beam on by saying, ‘Alexa, turn on the TV’ like on the ads? I can say, ‘Alexa, turn off the TV’ and she will, but I have to say, ‘Alexa, turn on the lounge’ to turn the TV on? It took me a lot longer than you might imagine to work out how to turn it on by voice at all, I was shouting all sorts of things at her. 🆒

Renaming the room TV has fixed it ?
On the plus side I can name the room ‘Telly’ which I think we can all agree makes the whole enterprise more enjoyable.
