BBC won't play through Alexa

Hi

I cant get bbc sounds to play on my various sonos speakers when i use Alexa.

 

I have it set up as a skill but when i ask Alexa to play Radio 6,  it says on my speakers , playing Radio 6 on bbc sounds but it dosnt play anything. 

 

All was working before untill i bought a ring doorbell 

 

Would be grateful for any help

Hello @Therealsouthstander, welcome to Sonos Community!

It appears that your system has lost connection to the Amazon Alexa Cloud. I am not sure how adding a ring doorbell would affect Amazon Alexa on your Sonos.

Please have a look at the following support article : Alexa commands not working on Sonos

More specifically:

Re-enable the Sonos skill

Open the Alexa app and tap on the More menu in the bottom right. Tap on Skills & Games > Your Skills > Sonos > Disable Skill. Once disabled, tap on Enable Skill.

If the above does not resolve your issue, have a look at the Advanced fixes on the support article.

If that fails too, I’d recommend reaching out to our Sonos Support for some live troubleshooting.
