Arc and Alexa in Portugal

I have a lot of Smart Home devices controlled by Alexa in my home in Portugal.

I am now very disappointed to find that my newly purchased Sonos Arc does not have Alexa voice facility.

Could anyone advise if the problem is with  Sonos or Amazon Alexa?

Alexa is not currently available on Sonos devices in Portugal:

With this omission, eARC problem with a 2 year old LG TV and rather less than impressive sound, I wish that I had bought something else. I certainly will not be adding the Sub
