Amazon Echo and Sonos One in the same room?

Hello everyone,,

I would like to get a couple of Echo dots for around the house so that I can use the drop-in feature. I am concerned that having these around will mean they will interfere with my Sonos Ones. Most of the times I use Alexa on my Sonos speakers it is to change lights and smart plugs, so I assume whichever device hears me will do this without an issue. But sometimes I do ask Sonos to play music, etc. Will the Echo Dot hear the music request instead and not play the songs over Sonos? Does anybody else have a set up with both devices in the same room????

@samebeef, If you change the wake word of the Echo dots you should not run into any issues.
