I have a Sonos PlayBase and 2 Sonos 1 speakers set up as a surround sound system and I have successfully used my Alexa Dot through my Sonos speakers.

However, today I renamed my Sonos Group, told Alexa to forget the old Group and discovered the new Group. The new Group shows up on the Alexa app but when asked to play music through the new Group Alexa tells me it is off-line. It is not off-line as I am able to use the Sonos with all other applications.

When I look at the Sonos device on the Alexa app I am told "oops something went wrong, please try again"

Help please, how can I sort this?

Hi, sorted this; I should have looked further in the community. I disabled the sonos skill in the Alex app and re-enabled. The system now works as described!!
