Alexa voice feedback via Sonos Play:3

Hi all,

I have 2 Sonos Play:3 devices in my house and one Echo Dot. I would like to see that the voice interaction that I have with Alexa is fed back via the Sonos Play speaker(s). Is this something that is possible or will that still go via the 'less nice' Dot speaker?

Or do I have to buy a different Alexa powered device?

Thanks

Bjorn

Hi there, Bjorn.

Thanks for reaching out to the Community. Happy to clear up any confusion in regards to how Amazon Alexa will work in Sonos.

At this point, you will need to interact with Amazon Alexa through the Dot device you have. When it comes to future plans, we have nothing to report. However, should you pick up the Sonos One, you'd be able to address the player directly as the microphone is located directly on the unit itself.
