As if the last Sonos update I can no longer use Alexa to play music on my Sonos products, which unfortunately encompass 100% of my music devices. I say “Alexa play xyz on family room” and Alexa responds, “playing xyz on family room… On family room appears to be offline”. This was never an issue before. Why now?
Disable and re-enable the Sonos skill in the Alexa app.

Also, you see the dozens of other people having the same issue as me. This is a Sonos issue and Sonos needs to take accountability and resolve with Amazon.
Is your Amazon account and your Alexa app logged in with the same account?
That might have been it. Alexa app was logged into my US account instead of Canadian. Thanks for your attention.
