Alexa & Sonos playing at the same time

Several times both Sonos and Echo are playing music at the time time. I have instructed Alexa to pause, and it only pauses Echo, and not Sonos. I then have to ask Alexa to pause Sonos. One time, the Echo stopped responding after issuing multiple commands, and I had to unplug the Echno and restart it. Any suggestions as to how to avoid this issue?

I’ve seen this happen with my Sonos/Alexa set up. Very annoying. I try to tell Alexa to specify music on my sonos. “Alexa play my blues radio in living room.” -works. However if you don’t specify where to play the music, Alexa will play it through its echo/dot. You would have to tell it commands to “stop music” then “play music in living room.” I guess if you don’t “stop music” on echo/dot it will play off both. Hope this helps.
