HI recently an upgrade allowed Alexa groups which meant that I would no longer need to include room name when asking Alexa to play music on my sonos speakers. However am unsure how to do this unless I have an Alexa device in each of my 5 rooms as seems that as I have 3 Alexa devices 2x dots and 1x spot I would be limiting the device to a specific room. Can you help me clarify whether alexa groups feature can work in my situation as not needing to name room would simplify things.
Tthanks Russ

You wouldn't be limiting the device to a single room. You can still use the Echo device to say "Play XXX in YYY" where YYY is another room than the one the device is defaulted to.
