Is there any way to turn off the annoying sound a Sonos One makes after Alexa replies and you have follow up turned on? I like follow up mode but I don’t need the sound after every response.

Turn off Wake Word Chime under the Alexa settings for each speaker in the Sonos app.

This is an Amazon setting, you could try turning Brief Mode' to off.

So brief mode is already off and the wake word chime is also off. I don’t get a chime when I say the wake up word, just after the alexa response when it goes in to follow up mode. Wondering if it’s this chime that can be turned off.

Try opening the Alexa App in a browser (www.alexa.

Amazon.co.uk) and turn off the chime in device settings.

Hmm. so both the start and end sounds are switched off, I’ve toggled them on and confirmed that works and toggled them off and that works too but there’s still one at the start of follow up mode. Oh well.

That will be follow on mode.

Yes, but I don’t want the sound, I just want it to follow on, without making the sound.

The two are linked, unfortunately.

Yeah, that’s annoying. Echo devices just follow on without the sound but Sonos devices don’t it seems.

Mine behave the same in the UK. 🤔
