Alexa echo playing music with the sonos together

Hi,
Will the amazon echo 2nd gen play music with the sonos speakers in harmony, I have a few sonos speakers already and am keen to get the echo for voice control on songs, I believe the echo will play music as it is but will it play along with the sonos,
I'm asking this because I would like to get another small speaker for the kitchen, so rather than buying a sonos speaker and a echo dot seperatly, I could just get the new echo to do both the jobs?

Not at this time. As to the future? Simply put, the syncing architecture used by each is very different, plus it would not make very much economic sense.
