Hello @BobbyZSD, welcome to the Sonos Community!
You can toggle the wake word chime on or off for Amazon Alexa or the Google Assistant. Sonos Voice Control does not use a wake word chime.
Sonos App for iOS or Android
- Go to the Settings menu.
- Select the Manage button next to My System.
- Select Voice Assistants.
- Choose your voice service from the list, then select the name of the room you’d like to modify.
- Toggle Wake Word Chime on or off.
Sonos S1 Controller for iOS or Android:
- From the Settings tab, select Services & Voice.
- Under Voice, select the name of your voice service in the list.
- Under Sonos Products, select the name of the room you’d like to modify.
- Toggle Wake Word Chime on or off.
I hope this helps.
Now if we could just do a similar thing with the Sonos voice assistant ‘acknowledgement’ earcon too, that would be helpful .. ‘Hey Sonos, what time is it? (earcon tone) … "it’s 1pm”. I just don’t see the point in having the earcon as Giancarlo often replies anyway.
Would love to be able to disable it.
I’ve done that and it’s still making a loud confirmation sound after it completes an Alexa request.

If you have ‘[follow up’ mode enabled in the Alexa App, then perhaps try disabling that too. You can also switch Alexa to use “Brief Mode” in the Alexa settings.
