Alexa Commands on Sonos Products skills not working

I am at a loss trying to find information.  Any help would be appreciated.  I have a multiple Sonos products in my house (no group set-up FYI), and I also have multiple Echo Dot speakers.  Alexa works on all devices both Sonos and Alexa Echo Dots.  There is one skill imparticular that is not working over the last month is Sleep Jar through Voice Commands on Sonos products, but does work on Echo products?  When I give the voice command to play or launch a particular sound on any Sonos device - the response I get is “Having Trouble accessing skill”.  This particular skill is linked in my Alexa app settings.  Since it works on Echo devices no problem - my thought is this is a Sonos issue and I downloaded the latest upgrade.  Is advice on how to fix -- my only work around has been to Airplay on the Sonos speakers, but only my phone to access not voice.

Not familiar with the ‘sleep jar’ system, but Sonos are not the same as Echo speakers, they’re just compatible audio devices that some features work on them. I’d certainly encourage you to read the FAQ (and associated FAQs) written by Sonos, or call Sonos Support to discuss it.

When you speak directly to the Support staff, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your network and Sonos system.

I get it - I will review and call Sonos Support.  What I do know is the voice command on my Sonos products used to work for years.  I used the same command on my Alexa devices.  It wasn’t until the last month the voice prompt/command on my Alexa devices did change a little - by saying something a little different and I can still get the Sleep Jar skill to work.  But the same voice prompt/command doesn’t work on my Sonos devices.

As I said before, what ‘just works’ on your Alexa speakers isn’t the same as what works on your Sonos speakers. The software implementation is different, as is their capabilities. Your best bet is to call Sonos Support to discuss it.

I think the change you experienced on the Echo devices is Alexa+.  I’m not sure if Sonos supports Alexa+.

Are you saying Sleep Jar used to work using Alexa on Sonos?

Correct MoPac - Sleep Jar used to work using Alexa on Sonos.  I will contact Sonos support about Alexa+ - I think that is it too.
