Question

Pairing SONOS Move with Windows10

I wanted to pair a Move with my wife’s Lenovo DESKTOP that runs Win10. I had an old LogiTech USB/BT adapter that I tried, but no joy. Probably just meant for their BT keyboards & mice. To prove out the concept, I DID successfully pair that Move with my MS SurfaceBook, which runs Win10. Now my question: has anyone successfully paired a Move with a DESKTOP PC that runs an external (USB) Bluetooth adapter? If so, what BT adapter did you use (/do you recommend)? Make & model number, please? Thanks.

Hi @EdWSuor, thank you for reaching out, and welcome to the Sonos community. I appreciate you for bringing this concern to us. Let me help you out.

Sonos Move designed to play audio from mobile devices. A battery-powered smart speaker for great, ultra-wide sound indoors, outdoors, and on the go. A full part of the Sonos system on WiFi with the added range of Bluetooth audio streaming.

Sonos Move is compatible with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) for setup and Bluetooth BT 4.2 supports AAC and SBC. Pairing the Sonos Move to an external (USB) Bluetooth adapter may or may not work.

We can wait for suggestions and feedback from our Sonos community members, they might provide a suggestion about this. You may also contact our Sales specialist for more information.
