I have a Scott LK 72 Amplifier that I want to integrate into my SONOS System using a Port. I am using the Tape Out on the Amp as my Input to the Port and the Extra on the Amp as my Output from the Port.

I am concerned about the Load Resistance and Capacitance on the Port and the compatibility with the jacks on the amp.

The Scott Tape Output jacks are rated at 200 k ohms and Capacitance at 200 pF. I do believe that the Port Input jacks are rated at 10 k ohms and 100-200 pF. Would there be an issue with this setup seeing as how the impedance on the Port is not adjustable.

I wasn’t able to find any amplifier spec sheets, but I think that the tape out spec given is wrong. 200 Ohms or less would be my guess and PORT Line-In would be an OK load.

As above, outputs are low impedance and inputs are high impedance. Finding an issue with modern components is vanishingly rare. You can usually drive two inputs from an output with no signal degradation.

Why aren't you using the tape-out and tape-in jacks? That is usually a more flexible connection option?
