Hi!2 weeks ago I downloaded The Sinners movie Blu-Ray Remux with Dolby True HD + Atmos 7.1 original audio. Before watching a Blu-Ray Remux file I always check that whether the icon in Sonos app shows "Dolby Atmos" so I confirm that the audio quality is the highest possible. I confirmed this for the The Sinners but had to postpone the watching part. However, today I have finally found the time to watch it but I have just discovered that instead of Dolby Atmos icon the Sonos app suddenly shows Dolby Multichannel PCM 5.1. Why is that? Has something happened in the recent days? Is it the software/hardware update? My set-up:TV: Sony Bravia XR 55A75KAudio: Sonos Arc Ultra + Sub Mini + 2 Ones SLExternal device for Dolby True HD: Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K (before commercial change adding "Plus")App used for watching: PlexHope someone can clarify because I don't understand what happened, 2 weeks ago everything worked like a charm.Thank you!

I'm thinking about upgrading my soundbar to the new Sonos Beam Ultra. My current setup consists of:Sonos Beam Gen 2Sonos Sub Mini2x Sonos One as rear surroundsFor those who have made this switch or tested this exact combo (i know its still a bit early?), will I notice a real, tangible difference when it comes to Dolby Atmos height channels and overall acoustic immersion? I’ve read some reviews on the Beam Ultra and it seems like a nice upgrade, but most of them did not include a decent setup, they only reviewed the bar itself. Any impressions, thoughts, or advice would be greatly appreciated!

HiI have Ace Ultra and I'm loving being able to stream either via Bluetooth or WiFi via the App. I have a question about the quality.Which would be higher given that I have an Android phone which supports Qualcomm aptX HD audio and access to Amazon Music Atmos and Ultra HD music. Will the BT link with my phone playing from Amazon music give me higher quality sound?I am assuming this would be the case as when I play music this way, Amazon is reporting the highest quality music being streamed to Ace Ultra.

The Sonos Ace has always been too loud at its lowest volume setting with no acknowledgement from Sonos despite multiple posts here. The solution for Android users was to Disable Absolute Volume in Developer Options but Google has now removed this ability. Has the Sonos Ace Ultra fixed this issue?

Has anyone installed an older tv (2016 Sony Bravia XBR-65X930D) with the Arc ultra using a non-Sonos Optical Audio Adapter?  it is currently on backorder and inquiring to see if anyone has had any luck with successful installation?

I am so disappointed. I have never returned a Sonos product (Sonos user for 8 years), but I just returned the Ace Ultra. I had been on the sidelines with the original Ace, as I didn’t need another headphone and my original Beams would not work for a handover. But- the addition of this feature in the Ace Ultra that would allow me to listen to my turntable connected to a pair of Fives via line-in, and my two Beams, was just what I was looking for. Finally. I eagerly unpacked the headphones and followed the setup instructions, including linking to both Beams and my other compatible speakers- including my paired Fives (not Play Five). I was hoping things would just work. But they didn’t. For reference, in the same room I have a Beam (wi-fi enabled) connected to a Samsung TV and a turntable connected to the Fives via line-in. They are in close proximity due to the room layout. FYI, all software/firmware is up to date as was the Early Access app feature.I eagerly put a record on the turntabl

Looks like I'm going to have to break the silence in here! 👋 First off, a big thank you to  @Keith N   and the Sonos team — not just for creating the UK group, but for reimagining the wider Sonos Community. 🙌I really like the direction this is going. Over the years, a lot of the Sonos conversation has ended up spread across Reddit, Facebook groups and various other places. It would be great to have more of that discussion happening here, alongside the Sonos team and other owners. 🔊I'm Carl, from Cheshire, and I've been using Sonos for a good few years. I've somehow ended up with rather more Sonos products around the house than I originally intended… funny how that happens! 😂I'm interested in everything from home theatre and music to new products and generally seeing what Sonos is working on next.Musically, I'm mostly into electronic music, EDM and melodic techno 🎶, but I also love film scores, classical and anything with great production that really shows off a system. So, to the

Hi,I have about 5 cm, but then i read 10 cm after installed. Is that an issue? The tv only goes half way over the soundbar.See my installation belowhttps://ibb.co/TBgVRPCN

Hi,Presently building a new open plan kitchen/lounge/diner and I'm struggling how to choose/place Sonos products for this large open plan space (9.4m x 7.2m overall) - see picture below.  What I am looking to establish is:-What type of speakers?   Should I consider ceiling speakers? How many? Where would they be positioned? Some random info:-Sound - I already have a cinema room so at this stage don’t believe true surround sound is required. Having said that, there isn’t a natural listening location beyond being sat on the sofa in this room, so ideas on how to manage this space will be ideal?  The system will be used more for enjoying music/podcasts rather than as a party space. I like a bit of everything from D&B to Rock to Classical Music Own a single Era 100 at present The budget is about £1500 - £1800. I could maybe add to the initial system later on, maybe with a sub-woofer or something else I use an Apple phone, Spotify and AlexaAny advice is greatly appreciated!

I have begun researching the possibility of adding Sonos Port to my system to enable the use of some really good Klipsch speakers in my office. I would power the speakers with an existing Denon amplifier. My question - does the Sonos Port ever go on sale? I would kick myself if i bought it and it goes on sale a few days later.

Hi everyone,I’m writing to bring attention to a persistent integration issue between Spotify Connect and Sonos, as well as to start a discussion regarding Trueplay support for Android flagships. As an owner of a premium Sonos setup (Era 300, Move 2, Sub Mini), I love the physical and acoustic quality of these speakers. However, the current software integration forces users into a frustrating compromise.### 1. Spotify Connect Volume Drop & Signal DegradationWhen playing music via Spotify Connect, the audio output is noticeably quieter, flatter, and lacks the dynamic range produced when playing the exact same track natively through the Sonos App. I recently escalated this directly with Spotify Technical Support. Spotify explicitly confirmed that:- Spotify Connect streaming to Sonos suffers from a known volume normalization / gain flag issue.- Resolving this requires joint engineering coordination between Spotify and Sonos.### 2. The Forced CompromiseBecause of this bug, users are forc

I have ASUS AZ88U PRO router and it uses SMBv2 protocol, I prepared USB stick with some mp3 tracks in a dir called Music. The USB is plugged into the router and configured to be shared as MUSICSERVER1. When I try adding this as a music library on my sonos app on android it gives me //path does not exist or similar error I tried //MUSICSERVER1/Music as well with my router ip, both did not work Please help!

Has anyone experienced Sonos voice control starting music while watching TV? This has happened several times, and I can’t quite figure out how or why this is happening.

Good Morning, Is trueplay tuning not available from an iPhone 18 Pro Max ? with a system ARC / Sub Mini / Era 300 L+R

Hey all! 👋🏻Last Tuesday was a big day and we announced a lot of things, so let's do a deep dive on portable surrounds. What are they, how they work, and what to expect if you try it out. What is it?Portable surrounds lets you grab a matching pair of portable speakers (Move 2 or Sonos Play) and use them as wireless rear surrounds, while also letting you pick them up and take them on the go. No cables, no long setup wizard, no manually telling the system where your couch is.Think of it like this: instead of "installing" surrounds, you just set them down where you want rear sound, and the system figures out the rest. The ✨magic✨Once you've enrolled your portables (a quick one-time setup in the app), place them in your preferred spot, and they automatically bond as left/right surrounds within a few seconds. You'll hear a little confirmation tone once they're connected, and the light will slowly blink white while it's working things out.Pick one up to move it? Both surrounds mute right aw

Hi everyone,I’ve been troubleshooting a multi-room setup recently, and I wanted to see if others in the community have encountered specific controller-side latency or music service queue desync issues.Occasionally, when switching between different streaming service providers or managing long playback queues from the mobile controller app, commands can take a moment to register, or the displayed UI queue state doesn't instantly sync up with what's actually playing on the hardware. What I’ve tried so far:- Cleared the controller app cache and reinstalled the application.- Verified local Wi-Fi stability and router connection states.- Performed a clean restart of the primary playback units. For those managing multiple music services through the app, what network configurations or optimization steps do you rely on to keep the controller interface snappy and queue synchronization seamless? Would love to hear your insights!

Hi,Since update 85.00.31 (Android) of the app, content from Pocket Casts service is not shown in playlists containing it. Here is the playlist list from my system. The playlist Podkassos currently contains only podcast episodes from the same podcast. The picture generated for the playlist is correctly using the pictures from the episodes.Playlist list When I look at the content of that playlist, the message says there is no content. No content shown in the sonos app The same content shown in the alternative app noson correctly show the content of the playlist.playlist not empty in noson The playlist can be enqueued and played. The queued list correctly shows the episodes.Visible in the queued list If I add a track from my library to the queue list, sonos only displays it while noson correctly displays everything.only the track not from Pocket Casts visible in sonosEverything visible in noson I had the opportunity to test the app version 85.00.31 on my android and on an iphone on another

Over the last couple of weeks, my speakers have all stopped responding to Alexa commands.if I ask Alexa to play Capital radio, the response from Alexa is that she will now play the said station but not actually play it.If I ask Alexa to play “ Luke Combs on my Spotify” the response is that it will now play said requested song and nothing happens.Even asking to STOP playing the music results in it still playing……….utter sh#te……Anyone else having this issue? This issue has never never been a problem before. Has there been a recent system update?

Would love to not have to buy a JBL party box.  I want to buy Sonos,  but they need to make a true outdoor party box.

Een nieuwe start voor de community zonder de “oude” community te vergeten. Welkom!

Is anyone else having issues with amp multi being able to join other Sonos speakers in different zones? If I am able to get any of the amp multi channels to join other Sonos speakers it, or they, will eventually drop.

I have changed between Alexa and Google Assistant on my Ones about 4 times. All of the “fixes” from all the forums aren't working. I have tried EVERYTHING. Alexa just stops when it’s time to play the news and Google Assistant says “I don't understand”. Is there and update coming from Sonos to fix this anytime soon?

Just an update concerning the new Beam Ultra.  This was a replacement for a playbar with a sub gen 1and 2 play 1’s as surrounds.  The beam sees and connects to the sub but after many resets, a long AI conversation and then eventually getting connected to a human, it turns out play 1’s as surrounds are not compatible with the beam ultra.  that’s a real pity but something to be aware of.  David
