👋   Hi Everyone,

I am considering replace two Sonos One with an Arc for a couple of reasons.  First, I am curious if it will sound better.  Second, it would work with my TV.

Right now I have two Sonos One (paired in stereo, of course) connected to an Alexa to play music.  Separately, I have a cheap soundbar/woofer for my TV.  This is in my finished basement.  I’d love to merge both sound systems into one, while keeping the Alexa functionality.

Thoughts?

You should totally keep the One’s, get your ARC and have surround. You will not be disappointed.

Plus, the two Sonos Ones would not work with the other company’s sound bar.

These are great ideas, but not possible since the existing Sonos ares are not physically able to be in the surround sound configuration: they are on bookshelves facing 90 degrees from the soundbar.  So, if I were to have only one option - 2 x Sonos One or an Arc - which would sound better?

For connecting to a TV, the Arc. For listening to music, the Ones.
