I need a 3m long hdmi cable for my ARC to replace the 1.5m one that came with it to reach other equipment. I think I've read somewhere that Sonos supply these or would an after market high speed one do just as well?

Sonos doesn’t ‘supply’ them, although they may sell longer cables in the store, I haven’t looked recently. But I’d just go with a local purveyor with a cable that has an HDMI 2.1 rating, which should include that high speed rating.
