You used Bluetooth and abandoned superior sound options eARC offers?

I think you could still Group a Sonos Amp with the Arc to get sound from your ceiling speakers.

The Arc Ultra is meant to be connected to the TV by an HDMI cable. Why did you choose Bluetooth?

It has a wireless connect one box. So should the HDMI cable be connected from the the Arc to the connect one box for the ceiling speakers and sub to work? Sorry we just bought this house that had Sonos and never had Sonos before.

Read the information in the link to setup your Arc Ultra.

https://support.sonos.com/en-us/article/set-up-your-sonos-arc-ultra

However, you need to factory reset your Arc Ultra first. Follow the instructions in the link

https://support.sonos.com/en-us/article/reset-your-sonos-product

After you get the Arc Ultra setup come back for more information on how to setup your surrounds

We’re talking baby steps 😊

You cannot use a Connect:Amp listed in your profile for surround duty on an Arc Ultra.

That’s great!

Did you read the instructions on how to connect it to your TV?

Are you having difficulty doing so?

Unfortunately the Arc Ultra will not work with a Connect:Amp Gen1 to accommodate rear speakers. You really need a Sonos Amp to replace the Connect:Amp. Some may suggest a used Connect:Amp Gen2. I’can’t recommend that type of investment for the Arc Ultra.

Also, know that even if you purchase a Sonos Amp you can only use two speakers as surrounds.

There are other options such as using Sonos Era 100’s or 300’s mounted on stands.

Let us know what you decide.

Well this sucks cuz I asked this question of the group before buying the TV. My installer told me I couldn’t have surround TV and I was told to get a new installer and if I connected it using either Bluetooth or an HDMI cord it would work. Time to return a $3200 85 inch Frame TV

Whoa…. The TV and Arc Ultra should work. The Arc UItra will provide a simulated surround effect. You just can’t use the ceiling speakers in conjunction with the Arc Ultra using the Connect:Amp. However you can use the speakers connected to the Connect:Amp for music.

Probably best to just buy a Sonos Amp (not a Connect Amp) and hook it up.

Changing the TV isn’t going to get the Connect Amp to work.

What group? Not very good advice from an installer. Sonos even says this is not possible on their website: Surround sound guidelines and limitations | Sonos

I don’t see any mention of Bluetooth in your earlier question to this forum?   https://en.community.sonos.com/home-theater-229129/will-my-set-up-connect-to-a-frame-tv-6932991

Whoa! Whoa! Whoa!  The following is what you first asked (bold added by me):

My installer says I won’t get surround sound with my setup of Arc Ultra, the newest Amp just purchased, and two surround ceiling speakers. He claims I will only get sound through the ceiling speakers. Any insight?

The “newest Amp just purchased” is able to connect to the Arc Ultra to power surrounds.  In this thread, it appears you have a Connect:Amp, which is a decade old, and does not connect to an Arc Ultra.  Also, nobody told you this would work with the Arc Ultra connected via Bluetooth.  Matter of fact, I personally posted the following (again, bold added by me):

Get a new installer.

If the Frame is connected to the Arc Ultra via HDMI-ARC and the Amp is added as surrounds, you will get 5.0.2 Atmos from that setup.
