I’d like to add a Sonos turntable to our current Sonos setup. I have a connect amp that runs a pair of klipsh rear passive speakers in my living room as part of my Sonos surround sound setup. If I plug the turntable into the connect amp will I only be able to play music over those rear passive speakers or will it somehow connect to the various other Sonos speakers I have ( play 1, arc, play threes, subs, etc. ). Also can I put two things into the connect amp at the same time? The pair of passive speakers and the turntable?
thanks!
Sonos devices used as surrounds have the other functions disabled, so no.
You can use an Era-100 and line-in adapter, a Port or other Sonos with inputs.
Victrola also makes a turntable that connects to Sonos via wifi.

I no longer have a Connect: Amp but I believe it performs in the same manner as its replacement the Sonos AMP. The Sonos Amp when used to drive surrounds cannot be used to connect with any other product. Meaning the line-in and sub outputs are deactivated. I would assume the same applies to the Connect: Amp.
Click this Link for Sonos products that work with a turntable. Once the music is started on the host speaker other Sonos speakers can join via grouping.
Also, the turntable will need either a built-in Pre-Amp or 3rd party Pre-Amp.
Some have considered using the Victrola turntable that works wireless with your Sonos system. See it here.
