Hello, I want to connect my technicks turntable to a beam2 speaker. I bought the Pro-Ject Optical Box E Phono Black adapter, to connect the turntable output to the preamp, and the digital output with the sonos digital to hdmi adapter cable, and it doesn't work. However, if I connect the input of the turntable to the phono input of the pro-ject converter, and the line out output to another fiber converter, it does work for me. Could someone explain to me why the digital output of the project is not recognized by the beam and that of the other fiber converter? (The fiber converter that works is one from Aliexpress for €10.)
